After some encouragement from Natasha, I finally found my way to blogspot.com and set up my own blog. Now that I am working in the computer lab at Trinity, I have a few extra hours in front a computer with time to kill. This is my first day on the job and I am doing a two-hour shift. So far not much has happened. I have to get up and walk around the lab every 10-15 minutes just to be a visible presence and check that no one is playing games for hours on end or looking at porn :(. I asked my friend who did it last year and is doing it again this year if she has ever had to kick someone off and she said no. I also have to remind people that no food or drink is allowed in the lab unless is it sealed or put away. Other than that I am basically just answer any question about printers and signing in. There haven't been any so far.
Classes are fine so far. The teacher for my databases course is energetic though a little difficlut to understand because she is from Latin America and has an accent and a tendency to speak fast. I am the only girl in that class. My education psychology prof. seems like a lot of fun too, though he assigned a lot of reading for next class. I found out that my tennis class is a beginner class, which is a little disappointing because I have played before, but the intermediate class is during another one of my classes. My Calc III prof is the same one I had for Calc I but I'm hoping it will be a little more interesting this time because I won't already know half the stuff. My other two courses, another education one and a physics one, I don't have until Monday.
In addition to working in the computer lab 6 hours a week, I am also going to be marking Math homework, probably for a Calc I course. The details haven't been nailed down yet. It is supposed to take me approximately four hours a week, but if it falls during my computer lab time I can do both at the same time.
I am working at Klassic Catering this weekend at 3:00 and I need to get up the courage to tell them that on top of everything else I don't think I can continue working during the semester. That scares me a little, so if you think of it, please pray.
It's been sort of nice to see all the people I met last year back again. It helps to know that I actually know some people in my classes. It is also kind of nice ot see Bethany around campus although I probably won't have any classes with her.
This weekend is shaping up to be pretty busy. I'm tutoring Friday night and Saturday morning, delivering doorhangers Saturday morning before tutoring, going to Party on the Grass on Sunday, and swing dancing Sunday night if I have been able to squeeze in my homework before then. I looks like a lot of fun, if not particularly restful.

Hey, you copied my skin (colour theme) for the blog!
Don't be afraid to tell them you can't work. Places like that deal with it all the time, so you'll be fine. I've got a busy weekend too, so I understand.
Yay, it's another blog! I see Natasha's been busy being a Blogger evangelist. :P
Good to see more people blogging. I never realized how many people would eventually be blogging along with me when I started mine two years ago. ^_^
Ha ha! Blogger evangelist :D That's awesome.
